The PSCA Antibody (CAB5614) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in various applications such as Western blot and immunohistochemistry.PSCA is known to play a crucial role in promoting prostate cancer growth and metastasis, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. The PSCA Polyclonal Antibody specifically recognizes the PSCA protein, enabling researchers to detect and analyze its expression in cancer cells and tumor tissues.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell membrane glycoprotein. In addition to being highly expressed in the prostate it is also expressed in the bladder, placenta, colon, kidney, and stomach. This gene is up-regulated in a large proportion of prostate cancers and is also detected in cancers of the bladder and pancreas. This gene includes a polymorphism that results in an upstream start codon in some individuals; this polymorphism is thought to be associated with a risk for certain gastric and bladder cancers. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
