The PSPH Antibody (CAB7924) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications.PSPH plays a crucial role in cellular metabolism, specifically in the regulation of serine levels which are essential for cell proliferation and survival. Dysregulation of PSPH has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. By targeting the PSPH protein, researchers can gain insights into the role of serine metabolism in disease progression and potentially identify new therapeutic targets.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a subfamily of the phosphotransferases. This encoded enzyme is responsible for the third and last step in L-serine formation. It catalyzes magnesium-dependent hydrolysis of L-phosphoserine and is also involved in an exchange reaction between L-serine and L-phosphoserine. Deficiency of this protein is thought to be linked to Williams syndrome.
