The Raptor Polyclonal Antibody (CAB21756) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting. By binding to the Raptor protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in cell biology and cancer research.Raptor, also known as regulatory-associated protein of mTOR, is a critical component of the mTOR signaling pathway, which plays a central role in controlling cell growth, proliferation, and survival.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a component of a signaling pathway that regulates cell growth in response to nutrient and insulin levels. The encoded protein forms a stoichiometric complex with the mTOR kinase, and also associates with eukaryotic initiation factor 4E-binding protein-1 and ribosomal protein S6 kinase. The protein positively regulates the downstream effector ribosomal protein S6 kinase, and negatively regulates the mTOR kinase. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
