The Reptin/RUVBL2 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4227) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This highly specific antibody, developed using rabbit monoclonal technology, offers exceptional reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. The Reptin/RuvBL2 protein, also known as Pontin or TIP49, is a key component of many protein complexes involved in regulating gene expression and maintaining genomic stability. Its involvement in essential cellular functions makes it a promising target for research in fields such as cancer biology, cell biology, and genomics.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Mouse samples.

This gene encodes the second human homologue of the bacterial RuvB gene. Bacterial RuvB protein is a DNA helicase essential for homologous recombination and DNA double-strand break repair. Functional analysis showed that this gene product has both ATPase and DNA helicase activities. This gene is physically linked to the CGB/LHB gene cluster on chromosome 19q13.3, and is very close (55 nt) to the LHB gene, in the opposite orientation.
