The SERPINF2 Antibody (CAB14043) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the SerpinF2 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in thrombosis, hemostasis, and inflammatory diseases.SerpinF2, also known as alpha-2-antiplasmin, acts as a key inhibitor of plasmin, a protease responsible for fibrinolysis. Dysregulation of SerpinF2 has been associated with various pathological conditions, including thrombosis, hemorrhage, and inflammatory disorders.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a member of the serpin family of serine protease inhibitors. The protein is a major inhibitor of plasmin, which degrades fibrin and various other proteins. Consequently, the proper function of this gene has a major role in regulating the blood clotting pathway. Mutations in this gene result in alpha-2-plasmin inhibitor deficiency, which is characterized by severe hemorrhagic diathesis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
