The SIPA1 Antibody (CAB12253) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the SIPA1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it a versatile tool for studies in cancer biology, cell signaling, and metastasis.SIPA1, also known as signal-induced proliferation-associated protein 1, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and invasion.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The product of this gene is a mitogen induced GTPase activating protein (GAP). It exhibits a specific GAP activity for Ras-related regulatory proteins Rap1 and Rap2, but not for Ran or other small GTPases. This protein may also hamper mitogen-induced cell cycle progression when abnormally or prematurely expressed. It is localized to the perinuclear region. Two alternatively spliced variants encoding the same isoform have been characterized to date.
