The SYT7 Antibody (CAB12757) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to SYT7 and is suitable for use in various applications, including Western blotting and immunofluorescence.SYT7 is a member of the synaptotagmin family of proteins, which are essential for calcium-dependent exocytosis in neurons. As a regulator of vesicle fusion and neurotransmitter release, SYT7 plays a crucial role in synaptic transmission and neuronal communication.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene is a member of the synaptotagmin gene family and encodes a protein similar to other family members that mediate calcium-dependent regulation of membrane trafficking in synaptic transmission. A similar protein in rodents mediates hormone secretion and lysosome exocytosis. In humans, expression of this gene has been associated with prostate cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
