The TCN2 Antibody (CAB5755) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced through immunization of rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blotting applications.Transcobalamin-2 plays a crucial role in vitamin B12 uptake and utilization, making it essential for various cellular processes including DNA synthesis and nerve function. Dysregulation of transcobalamin-2 has been linked to vitamin B12 deficiency and related health conditions, highlighting its importance in human health.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

This gene encodes a member of the vitamin B12-binding protein family. This family of proteins, alternatively referred to as R binders, is expressed in various tissues and secretions. This plasma protein binds cobalamin and mediates the transport of cobalamin into cells. This protein and other mammalian cobalamin-binding proteins, such as transcobalamin I and gastric intrisic factor, may have evolved by duplication of a common ancestral gene. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
