The TFAP2B Antibody (CAB7935) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. It targets the TFAP2B protein, allowing for detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in molecular biology and genetic research.TFAP2B, also known as transcription factor AP-2 beta, plays a crucial role in gene regulation and cellular differentiation, making it a key player in processes such as embryonic development and tissue homeostasis.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a member of the AP-2 family of transcription factors. AP-2 proteins form homo- or hetero-dimers with other AP-2 family members and bind specific DNA sequences. They are thought to stimulate cell proliferation and suppress terminal differentiation of specific cell types during embryonic development. Specific AP-2 family members differ in their expression patterns and binding affinity for different promoters. This protein functions as both a transcriptional activator and repressor. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal dominant Char syndrome, suggesting that this gene functions in the differentiation of neural crest cell derivatives.
