The TIMP3 Antibody (CAB11986) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the TIMP3 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential component for studies in the fields of cancer research and regenerative medicine.TIMP3 is a crucial inhibitor of metalloproteinases, enzymes that degrade the extracellular matrix.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene belongs to the TIMP gene family. The proteins encoded by this gene family are inhibitors of the matrix metalloproteinases, a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracellular matrix (ECM). Expression of this gene is induced in response to mitogenic stimulation and this netrin domain-containing protein is localized to the ECM. Mutations in this gene have been associated with the autosomal dominant disorder Sorsby's fundus dystrophy.
