ASSAY GENIE'S TRAVEL GRANT

Funding for Scientific Conferences & Research Travel

Apply for the Assay Genie Travel Grant to support your attendance at scientific conferences and research events. Open to early-career researchers and students worldwide.

Eligibility Criteria

check_circle_outline   Current Affiliation
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a postgraduate (Master’s or PhD) program or employed as a postdoctoral researcher at a recognized academic institution or research organization.
check_circle_outline   Field of Research
The applicant’s research must be within the life sciences field, including but not limited to immunology, cell biology, cancer research, neuroscience, or biochemistry.
check_circle_outline   Conference Presentation with Assay Genie Products
Applicants must be presenting their research (either via poster or oral presentation) at an upcoming scientific conference, symposium, or meeting, and their presentation must involve the use of Assay Genie products.

All applications must be submitted through the official application form and include all required documents/details: current affiliation, conference name & abstract of the research being presented.

The grant is open to applicants worldwide; however, funding amounts may vary depending on location and event.
check_circle_outline   One Application Per Cycle
Only one application per person is permitted per grant cycle. Previous recipients of the Assay Genie Travel Grant are not eligible to reapply.

Terms & Conditions

By applying for the Assay Genie Travel Grant, applicants agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Use of Funds - The grant must be used exclusively to cover costs related to attendance at a scientific conference, symposium, or meeting, such as registration fees, travel, accommodation, and related expenses.


2. Proof of Conference Participation - Successful applicants are required to provide proof of conference registration and confirmation of poster or oral presentation prior to the release of grant funds.


3. Acknowledgement of Assay Genie - Recipients must acknowledge Assay Genie's support in their presentation (poster or slide) and, where apporpiate, list any Assay Genie Products used in their research.


4. Follow-Up RequirementsGrant recipients may be asked to share photos from the event for Assay Genie's marketing or social media (with prior consent) and provide a testimonial or research highlight for future promotional use.


5. Non-Tranferable AwardThe travel grant is non-transferable and must be used by the named recipient only. Substitution or reassignment is not permitted.


6. Grant Amount - The amount awarded will be determined by Assay Genie and may vary depending on the applicant’s location and the cost of the event.


7. Right Withdraw or WithholdAssay Genie reserves the right to withdraw or withhold the grant at any time if the applicant is found to have provided false or misleading information, or fails to comply with the terms and conditions.


8. Limitation of Liability - Assay Genie is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the applicant beyond the grant amount awarded. This includes but is not limited to visa issues, travel disruptions, or event cancellations.


9. Privacy and Data Use - By submitting an application, applicants consent to the use of their personal and professional information for the purposes of grant administration, communication, and limited promotional use (if selected as a recipient).


10. Change to Terms Assay Genie reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
