The WNK1 Antibody (CAB14196) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows high specificity for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the WNK1 protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in a wide range of cell types, making it an essential reagent for studies in molecular biology and hypertension research.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a member of the WNK subfamily of serine/threonine protein kinases. The encoded protein may be a key regulator of blood pressure by controlling the transport of sodium and chloride ions. Mutations in this gene have been associated with pseudohypoaldosteronism type II and hereditary sensory neuropathy type II. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described but the full-length nature of all of them has yet to be determined.
