The ADIPOR1 Antibody (CAB1509) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.Adipor1, also known as adiponectin receptor 1, is a key player in adiponectin signaling, a hormone that plays a crucial role in metabolic regulation and insulin sensitivity. Dysregulation of Adipor1 has been linked to metabolic disorders such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a protein which acts as a receptor for adiponectin, a hormone secreted by adipocytes which regulates fatty acid catabolism and glucose levels. Binding of adiponectin to the encoded protein results in activation of an AMP-activated kinase signaling pathway which affects levels of fatty acid oxidation and insulin sensitivity. A pseudogene of this gene is located on chromosome 14. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
