The MPO Antibody (CAB1374) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, has high specificity and sensitivity for detecting MPO in human samples, making it ideal for use in various research applications such as Western blot and immunohistochemistry.MPO is an enzyme involved in the immune response, playing a crucial role in the defense against pathogens by generating reactive oxygen species. Abnormalities in MPO activity have been implicated in various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, making it a valuable target for research.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA, IF-P applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

Myeloperoxidase (MPO) is a heme protein synthesized during myeloid differentiation that constitutes the major component of neutrophil azurophilic granules. Produced as a single chain precursor, myeloperoxidase is subsequently cleaved into a light and heavy chain. The mature myeloperoxidase is a tetramer composed of 2 light chains and 2 heavy chains. This enzyme produces hypohalous acids central to the microbicidal activity of neutrophils.
