The ARX Antibody (CAB17267) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, exhibits strong reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the ARX protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an excellent choice for studies in neuroscience and developmental biology.ARX is a crucial factor in neuronal development, playing a significant role in the formation of the brain's cortex and in the regulation of gene expression in neurons. Mutations in the ARX gene have been linked to several neurological disorders, including X-linked lissencephaly and West syndrome.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene is a homeobox-containing gene expressed during development. The expressed protein contains two conserved domains, a C-peptide (or aristaless domain) and the prd-like class homeobox domain. It is a member of the group-II aristaless-related protein family whose members are expressed primarily in the central and/or peripheral nervous system. This gene is thought to be involved in CNS development. Expansion of a polyalanine tract and other mutations in this gene cause X-linked cognitive disability and epilepsy.
