The AscL1 Antibody (CAB10669) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blotting and immunohistochemistry applications.ASCL1, also known as Achaete-Scute Family BHLH Transcription Factor 1, is a key regulator of neurogenesis and neuronal differentiation. Its expression is essential for the generation of neurons in the central and peripheral nervous systems, making it a promising target for studies in neuroscience and developmental biology.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (BHLH) family of transcription factors. The protein activates transcription by binding to the E box (5'-CANNTG-3'). Dimerization with other BHLH proteins is required for efficient DNA binding. This protein plays a role in the neuronal commitment and differentiation and in the generation of olfactory and autonomic neurons. Mutations in this gene may contribute to the congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS) phenotype in rare cases.
