The ATR Monoclonal Antibody (CAB21253) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced through monoclonal antibody technology, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity in detecting ATR in a variety of sample types, including human cells.ATR is a crucial protein involved in maintaining genomic stability and preventing the accumulation of mutations that can lead to cancer and other genetic disorders. By targeting ATR with this monoclonal antibody, researchers can explore the role of ATR in DNA repair processes, cell cycle regulation, and response to genotoxic stress.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a serine/threonine kinase and DNA damage sensor, activating cell cycle checkpoint signaling upon DNA stress. The encoded protein can phosphorylate and activate several proteins involved in the inhibition of DNA replication and mitosis, and can promote DNA repair, recombination, and apoptosis. This protein is also important for fragile site stability and centrosome duplication. Defects in this gene are a cause of Seckel syndrome 1.
