The Caspase-2 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4888) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the caspase-2 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in various cell types, providing valuable insights into apoptosis and its role in disease processes.Caspase-2 is a critical regulator of apoptosis, with implications in cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and other pathological conditions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Caspases mediate cellular apoptosis through the proteolytic cleavage of specific protein substrates. The encoded protein may function in stress-induced cell death pathways, cell cycle maintenance, and the suppression of tumorigenesis. Increased expression of this gene may play a role in neurodegenerative disorders including Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease and temporal lobe epilepsy. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
