The CD44 Antibody (CAB1351) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is specially validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the CD44 antigen, this antibody allows for the precise detection and analysis of CD44 expression in various cell types, making it an excellent choice for studies in immunology, cancer research, and stem cell biology.CD44 is known to play a crucial role in processes such as cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation, making it a key player in various physiological and pathological conditions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a cell-surface glycoprotein involved in cell-cell interactions, cell adhesion and migration. It is a receptor for hyaluronic acid (HA) and can also interact with other ligands, such as osteopontin, collagens, and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). This protein participates in a wide variety of cellular functions including lymphocyte activation, recirculation and homing, hematopoiesis, and tumor metastasis. Transcripts for this gene undergo complex alternative splicing that results in many functionally distinct isoforms, however, the full length nature of some of these variants has not been determined. Alternative splicing is the basis for the structural and functional diversity of this protein, and may be related to tumor metastasis.
