The DTNBP1 Antibody (CAB1632) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blot analysis.Dysbindin is known to be associated with schizophrenia and other neurodevelopmental disorders, making it an important target for research in the field of neuroscience. By enabling the detection and analysis of dysbindin in different cell types, this antibody is ideal for studies aiming to unravel the role of dysbindin in the pathophysiology of these disorders.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

This gene encodes a protein that may play a role in organelle biogenesis associated with melanosomes, platelet dense granules, and lysosomes. A similar protein in mouse is a component of a protein complex termed biogenesis of lysosome-related organelles complex 1 (BLOC-1), and binds to alpha- and beta-dystrobrevins, which are components of the dystrophin-associated protein complex (DPC). Mutations in this gene are associated with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome type 7. This gene may also be associated with schizophrenia. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
