The eEF2 Antibody (CAB2068) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. It binds to the Elongation Factor 2 protein, allowing for precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in molecular biology and cellular physiology.Elongation Factor 2 is a critical component of the protein synthesis machinery, facilitating the translocation of ribosomes along mRNA during translation.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a member of the GTP-binding translation elongation factor family. This protein is an essential factor for protein synthesis. It promotes the GTP-dependent translocation of the nascent protein chain from the A-site to the P-site of the ribosome. This protein is completely inactivated by EF-2 kinase phosporylation.
