The ENPP2 Antibody (CAB2522) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the ENPP2 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of ENPP2 in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in immunology and cancer research. ENPP2, also known as autotaxin, is a key player in immune modulation and has been implicated in various diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The protein encoded by this gene functions as both a phosphodiesterase, which cleaves phosphodiester bonds at the 5' end of oligonucleotides, and a phospholipase, which catalyzes production of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in extracellular fluids. LPA evokes growth factor-like responses including stimulation of cell proliferation and chemotaxis. This gene product stimulates the motility of tumor cells and has angiogenic properties, and its expression is upregulated in several kinds of carcinomas. The gene product is secreted and further processed to make the biologically active form. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
