The EpCAM Antibody (CAB1177) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in various research applications.EpCAM, also known as epithelial cell adhesion molecule, is commonly overexpressed in cancer cells, making it a promising target for cancer therapy and diagnostics. The EpCAM Polyclonal Antibody enables the detection and analysis of this protein in a wide range of cell types, providing valuable insights into its function and potential roles in cancer progression.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen and is a member of a family that includes at least two type I membrane proteins. This antigen is expressed on most normal epithelial cells and gastrointestinal carcinomas and functions as a homotypic calcium-independent cell adhesion molecule. The antigen is being used as a target for immunotherapy treatment of human carcinomas. Mutations in this gene result in congenital tufting enteropathy.
