The GMPS Antibody (CAB6606) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the GMPS protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential component for studies in molecular biology, cancer research, and drug development.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IP, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

In the de novo synthesis of purine nucleotides, IMP is the branch point metabolite at which point the pathway diverges to the synthesis of either guanine or adenine nucleotides. In the guanine nucleotide pathway, there are 2 enzymes involved in converting IMP to GMP, namely IMP dehydrogenase (IMPD1), which catalyzes the oxidation of IMP to XMP, and GMP synthetase, which catalyzes the amination of XMP to GMP.
