The GP2 Antibody (CAB12438) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced through rabbit immunization, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it a valuable tool for studies focusing on pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, and other pancreatic disorders.GP2 plays a vital role in the exocytosis of pancreatic digestive enzymes and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of various pancreatic diseases. The GP2 Polyclonal Antibody binds specifically to the GP2 protein, allowing for its detection and analysis in different cell types.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes an integral membrane protein that is secreted from intracellular zymogen granules and associates with the plasma membrane via glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) linkage. The encoded protein binds pathogens such as enterobacteria, thereby playing an important role in the innate immune response. The C-terminus of this protein is related to the C-terminus of the protein encoded by the neighboring gene, uromodulin (UMOD). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
