The KLK15 Antibody (CAB2757) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This rabbit-derived antibody is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.Kallikrein 15, also known as PRSS9, is a serine protease that plays a significant role in proteolytic cascades, particularly in the kallikrein-kinin system. Its dysregulation has been linked to various diseases including cancer, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Mouse, Rat samples.

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. This gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. In prostate cancer, this gene has increased expression, which indicates its possible use as a diagnostic or prognostic marker for prostate cancer. The gene contains multiple polyadenylation sites and alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
