The KAT5 Antibody (CAB1678) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.KAT5 is a key regulator of gene transcription, playing a crucial role in cellular processes such as DNA repair, cell cycle progression, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of KAT5 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders, making it an important target for research.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the MYST family of histone acetyl transferases (HATs) and was originally isolated as an HIV-1 TAT-interactive protein. HATs play important roles in regulating chromatin remodeling, transcription and other nuclear processes by acetylating histone and nonhistone proteins. This protein is a histone acetylase that has a role in DNA repair and apoptosis and is thought to play an important role in signal transduction. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.
