The KCNE1 Antibody (CAB1176) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.KCNE1 plays a crucial role in modulating potassium ion channels in the heart, impacting the cardiac action potential and electrical conduction. Dysregulation of KCNE1 has been linked to various cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions. By targeting the KCNE1 protein, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these pathologies and potentially develop new therapeutic strategies.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The product of this gene belongs to the potassium channel KCNE family. Potassium ion channels are essential to many cellular functions and show a high degree of diversity, varying in their electrophysiologic and pharmacologic properties. This gene encodes a transmembrane protein known to associate with the product of the KVLQT1 gene to form the delayed rectifier potassium channel. Mutation in this gene are associated with both Jervell and Lange-Nielsen and Romano-Ward forms of long-QT syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
