The MDFI Antibody (CAB13709) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the MDFI protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze its expression in a wide range of cell types, making this antibody essential for studies in molecular biology and gene regulation.MDFI, also known as MyoD family inhibitor, is a critical transcriptional regulator involved in modulating the activity of MyoD family proteins, which play essential roles in muscle differentiation and development.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This protein is a transcription factor that negatively regulates other myogenic family proteins. Studies of the mouse homolog, I-mf, show that it interferes with myogenic factor function by masking nuclear localization signals and preventing DNA binding. Knockout mouse studies show defects in the formation of vertebrae and ribs that also involve cartilage formation in these structures.
