The MED20 Antibody (CAB15757) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the MED20 protein, this antibody allows for easy detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal tool for research in the fields of molecular biology and gene regulation.MED20 is a subunit of the mediator complex, which functions as a transcriptional coactivator to regulate gene expression. Its involvement in gene transcription makes it a crucial target for studying various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and response to stimuli.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a component of the mediator complex (also known as TRAP, SMCC, DRIP, or ARC), a transcriptional coactivator complex thought to be required for the expression of almost all genes. The mediator complex is recruited by transcriptional activators or nuclear receptors to induce gene expression, by interacting with RNA polymerase II and promoting the formation of a transcriptional pre-initiation complex. A mutation in this gene has been associated with a novel infantile-onset neurodegenerative movement disorder. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
