The MMP1 Antibody (CAB1191) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody is raised in rabbits and is highly specific for human samples, making it an ideal choice for experiments involving MMP1 protein detection.MMP1 is involved in processes such as wound healing, tissue repair, and tumor invasion, highlighting its importance in various physiological and pathological conditions. By using the MMP1 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze MMP1 expression in cell lysates or tissue samples, providing insights into the enzyme's activity and potential implications in diseases like cancer and arthritis.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a member of the peptidase M10 family of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). Proteins in this family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature protease. This secreted protease breaks down the interstitial collagens, including types I, II, and III. The gene is part of a cluster of MMP genes on chromosome 11. Mutations in this gene are associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, at least one of which encodes an isoform that is proteolytically processed.
