Monoamine Oxidase A (MAOA) Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4105)
The Monoamine Oxidase A (MAOA) Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4105) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. MAO-A is an enzyme involved in the metabolism of neurotransmitters such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin, making it a key player in regulating mood, behavior, and cognitive function. This rabbit monoclonal antibody is highly specific and sensitive, making it ideal for use in applications such as Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene is one of two neighboring gene family members that encode mitochondrial enzymes which catalyze the oxidative deamination of amines, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Mutation of this gene results in Brunner syndrome. This gene has also been associated with a variety of other psychiatric disorders, including antisocial behavior. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed.
