The Phospho-ERK1-T202 Antibody (CABP0234) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases, also known as extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs), act in a signaling cascade that regulates various cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and cell cycle progression in response to a variety of extracellular signals. This kinase is activated by upstream kinases, resulting in its translocation to the nucleus where it phosphorylates nuclear targets. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms have been described.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

Buffer Information
Store at -20℃. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Buffer: PBS containing 50% glycerol, preserved with proclin300 or sodium azide, pH 7.3.
Western blot analysis of various lysates using Phospho-ERK1-T202 + ERK2-T185 Rabbit pAb (CABP0234) at 1:1000 dilution. Jurkat and NIH/3T3 cells were treated with PMA/TPA (200 nM) at 37℃ for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight. Jurkat cells were treated with ATP(5 mM) at 30℃ for 1 hour. Secondary antibody: HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (AS014) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit (AbGn00020). Exposure time: 1s.
Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Human breast carcinoma tissue, using Phospho-ERK1-T202 + ERK2-T185 Rabbit pAb (CABP0234). Microwave antigen retrieval performed with 0.01M Tris/EDTA Buffer (pH 9.0) prior to IHC staining.
