The Phospho-MYL9-S19 Antibody (CABP0872) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. Myosin regulatory light chain 9 (MyL9) is a key regulatory protein involved in actomyosin contractility and cell motility. This antibody specifically recognizes phosphorylated MyL9 at serine 19, enabling the detection and analysis of phosphorylated MyL9 in a variety of cell types.Raised in rabbits, this antibody is highly reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the phosphorylated form of MyL9, researchers can investigate the regulation of actomyosin contractility in different cellular contexts.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

Myosin, a structural component of muscle, consists of two heavy chains and four light chains. The protein encoded by this gene is a myosin light chain that may regulate muscle contraction by modulating the ATPase activity of myosin heads. The encoded protein binds calcium and is activated by myosin light chain kinase. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
