The Phospho-RB-S780 Monoclonal Antibody (CABP1419) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. The protein encoded by this gene is a negative regulator of the cell cycle and was the first tumor suppressor gene found. The encoded protein also stabilizes constitutive heterochromatin to maintain the overall chromatin structure. The active, hypophosphorylated form of the protein binds transcription factor E2F1. Defects in this gene are a cause of childhood cancer retinoblastoma (RB), bladder cancer, and osteogenic sarcoma.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Rat samples.

Western blot analysis of lysates from HeLa cells, using Phospho-RB-S780 Rabbit mAb (CABP1419) at 1:19000 dilution. HeLa cells were treated with Calyculin A (100 nM) at 37℃ for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight. Secondary antibody: HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (AS014) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit (AbGn00021). Exposure time: 60s.
Western blot analysis of lysates from C6 cells, using Phospho-RB-S780 Rabbit mAb (CABP1419) at 1:19000 dilution.
