The CD62P/P-selectin Antibody (CAB12501) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to SELP, the antibody enables the detection and analysis of this important protein in various cell types.SELP plays a crucial role in mediating the recruitment of leukocytes to sites of inflammation, making it a key player in immune response regulation. Dysregulation of SELP has been implicated in various inflammatory conditions and diseases, including cardiovascular disease and arthritis.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

This gene encodes a 140 kDa protein that is stored in the alpha-granules of platelets and Weibel-Palade bodies of endothelial cells. This protein redistributes to the plasma membrane during platelet activation and degranulation and mediates the interaction of activated endothelial cells or platelets with leukocytes. The membrane protein is a calcium-dependent receptor that binds to sialylated forms of Lewis blood group carbohydrate antigens on neutrophils and monocytes. Alternative splice variants may occur but are not well documented.
