The SLPI Antibody (CAB1897) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. Raised in rabbits, this antibody is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications for the detection and analysis of SLPI.SLPI is a crucial player in immune regulation, functioning as a protease inhibitor and anti-inflammatory molecule. It is involved in maintaining immune homeostasis and has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a secreted inhibitor which protects epithelial tissues from serine proteases. It is found in various secretions including seminal plasma, cervical mucus, and bronchial secretions, and has affinity for trypsin, leukocyte elastase, and cathepsin G. Its inhibitory effect contributes to the immune response by protecting epithelial surfaces from attack by endogenous proteolytic enzymes. This antimicrobial protein has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral activity.
