The AhR Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4000) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. The antibody is produced using a polyclonal method in rabbits and has been validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence assays. The AHR protein is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in mediating the cellular response to environmental toxins and pollutants. Activation of AHR can lead to the regulation of various genes involved in detoxification and immune response pathways.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a ligand-activated helix-loop-helix transcription factor involved in the regulation of biological responses to planar aromatic hydrocarbons. This receptor has been shown to regulate xenobiotic-metabolizing enzymes such as cytochrome P450. Before ligand binding, the encoded protein is sequestered in the cytoplasm; upon ligand binding, this protein moves to the nucleus and stimulates transcription of target genes.
