The ATP4B Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19280) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This polyclonal antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits strong reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in applications such as Western blotting.ATP4B, also known as H+/K+ transporting ATPase subunit beta, is essential for the functioning of the proton pump in parietal cells of the stomach. Dysregulation of ATP4B has been implicated in various gastric disorders, including gastric ulcers and gastritis.
This antibody is validated for use in IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a family of P-type cation-transporting ATPases. The gastric H+, K+-ATPase is a heterodimer consisting of a high molecular weight catalytic alpha subunit and a smaller but heavily glycosylated beta subunit. This enzyme is a proton pump that catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of H(+) and K(+) ions across the plasma membrane. It is also responsible for gastric acid secretion. This gene encodes the beta subunit of the gastric H+, K+-ATPase.
