Description
Anti-Mouse CD28 In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin
Introducing the Anti-Mouse CD28 In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin from Assay Genie, a highly specific monoclonal antibody tailored for in vivo applications. This antibody targets the CD28 molecule, an essential co-stimulatory protein in T-cell activation, making it ideal for research in immunology and related fields. Featuring a mouse IgG subclass, it ensures exceptional purity and ultra-low endotoxin levels (<0.1 EU/mg), perfect for assays such as ELISA, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry. Available in various concentrations, it is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline for optimal stability and performance.
Enhance your research endeavors with this reliable and highly effective antibody. CD28 is a vital receptor found on the surface of T-cells, playing a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. It functions by binding to its ligands CD80 and CD86 on antigen-presenting cells, thereby providing necessary co-stimulatory signals for T-cell activation and survival. This critical interaction underscores the importance of CD28 in maintaining a robust and balanced immune system.

CD28 is a 44 kD glycoprotein and a member of the Ig superfamily. In its capacity as a costimulatory receptor, CD28 produces co-stimulatory signals necessary for T cell activation and survival. CD28 is the only B7 receptor constitutively expressed on naive T cells. Without having this CD28/B7 interaction, T cells will fail to respond to their specific antigen when coming in contact with an MHC/antigen complex and thus, are said to be anergic.
