The Phospho-STING/TMEM173-S366 Polyclonal Antibody (CABP1223) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is specifically designed to target the phosphorylated form of TMEM173 at serine 366. It has been validated for use in Western blot applications and is highly reactive with human samples.TMEM173, also known as STING (Stimulator of Interferon Genes), is a key player in the innate immune response to viral and bacterial infections. Phosphorylation of TMEM173 at serine 366 is a crucial event in its activation, leading to the production of type I interferons and other pro-inflammatory cytokines.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a five transmembrane protein that functions as a major regulator of the innate immune response to viral and bacterial infections. The encoded protein is a pattern recognition receptor that detects cytosolic nucleic acids and transmits signals that activate type I interferon responses. The encoded protein has also been shown to play a role in apoptotic signaling by associating with type II major histocompatibility complex. Mutations in this gene are the cause of infantile-onset STING-associated vasculopathy. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
