The ATP6AP1 Antibody (CAB1209) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the ATP6AP1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in biochemistry and cell biology.ATP6AP1, also known as the accessory protein of vacuolar ATPase, plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular pH balance and regulating membrane trafficking. Its involvement in these essential functions underscores its importance in cellular physiology and pathology.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a component of a multisubunit enzyme that mediates acidification of eukaryotic intracellular organelles. Vacuolar ATPase (V-ATPase) is comprised of a cytosolic V1 (site of the ATP catalytic site) and a transmembrane V0 domain. V-ATPase dependent organelle acidification is necessary for such intracellular processes as protein sorting, zymogen activation, and receptor-mediated endocytosis. The encoded protein of this gene may assist in the V-ATPase-mediated acidification of neuroendocrine secretory granules. This protein may also play a role in early development.
