The CFL1 Antibody (CAB1704) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and reactivity with human samples, making it a reliable choice for Western blot applications.CFL1, also known as Cofilin-1, is a critical protein in cytoskeletal regulation, playing a crucial role in various cellular processes such as cell motility and cell division. Dysregulation of CFL1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders, highlighting its importance in cellular function and disease progression.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene can polymerize and depolymerize F-actin and G-actin in a pH-dependent manner. Increased phosphorylation of this protein by LIM kinase aids in Rho-induced reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. Cofilin is a widely distributed intracellular actin-modulating protein that binds and depolymerizes filamentous F-actin and inhibits the polymerization of monomeric G-actin in a pH-dependent manner. It is involved in the translocation of actin-cofilin complex from cytoplasm to nucleus.
