The GRO alpha Antibody (CAB5802) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the CXCL1 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of CXCL1 in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in immunology and cancer research.CXCL1, also known as GRO alpha, plays a crucial role in recruiting neutrophils to sites of inflammation, promoting angiogenesis, and enhancing cancer cell proliferation and metastasis.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Rat samples.

This antimicrobial gene encodes a member of the CXC subfamily of chemokines. The encoded protein is a secreted growth factor that signals through the G-protein coupled receptor, CXC receptor 2. This protein plays a role in inflammation and as a chemoattractant for neutrophils. Aberrant expression of this protein is associated with the growth and progression of certain tumors. A naturally occurring processed form of this protein has increased chemotactic activity. Alternate splicing results in coding and non-coding variants of this gene. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 4.
