The DNAJC19 Antibody (CAB14961) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody is raised in rabbits and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blot analysis. DNAJC19 is known for its role in protein folding and assembly in the mitochondria, which is crucial for cellular function and energy production. Dysregulation of DNAJC19 has been linked to mitochondrial disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, making it a target of interest for research in these fields. With its high reactivity towards DNAJC19 in human samples, this polyclonal antibody enables the detection and analysis of DNAJC19 protein expression in various cell types.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is thought to be part of a complex involved in the ATP-dependent transport of transit peptide-containing proteins from the inner cell membrane to the mitochondrial matrix. Defects in this gene are a cause of 3-methylglutaconic aciduria type 5 (MGA5), also known as dilated cardiomyopathy with ataxia (DCMA). Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. Related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 1, 2, 6, 10, 14 and 19.
