The semi-final brought even more tension, as the remaining eight scientists faced off in a nail-biting challenge to fill the edges of the 96-well plate as fast as possible. In an intense race, Spain surged ahead, securing the first spot in the final, followed closely by Bosnia and Germany, who grabbed the third and fourth places respectively.
The final was nothing short of thrilling. Competitors had to fill the remaining center wells of the plate to claim one of the three coveted trophies. Spain’s Nieves Fernández-Gallego Anaya soared to victory, showcasing extraordinary precision and speed to take first place. Bosnia’s Kristina Draganić earned a well-deserved second, while Germany’s Nouria Jantz-Naeem secured third place on the podium.
