The GBA2 Antibody (CAB12834) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity towards human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the GBA2 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential resource for studies in biochemistry and molecular biology.GBA2, also known as glucocerebrosidase 2, plays a crucial role in maintaining lipid homeostasis and cellular function.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

This gene encodes a microsomal beta-glucosidase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of bile acid 3-O-glucosides as endogenous compounds. Studies to determine subcellular localization of this protein in the liver indicated that the enzyme was mainly enriched in the microsomal fraction where it appeared to be confined to the endoplasmic reticulum. This putative transmembrane protein is thought to play a role in carbohydrate transport and metabolism.
