The GBF1 Antibody (CAB8468) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards GBF1 in human samples, making it ideal for a range of research applications, including Western blotting.GBF1 plays a pivotal role in vesicular trafficking and membrane fusion processes within the Golgi apparatus, making it a key player in cellular transport and protein sorting mechanisms. Dysregulation of GBF1 has been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, viral infections, and cancer.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

This gene encodes a member of the Sec7 domain family. The encoded protein is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor that regulates the recruitment of proteins to membranes by mediating GDP to GTP exchange. The encoded protein is localized to the Golgi apparatus and plays a role in vesicular trafficking by activating ADP ribosylation factor 1. The encoded protein has also been identified as an important host factor for viral replication. Multiple transcript variants have been observed for this gene.
