The HOOK1 Antibody (CAB4731) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.Hook1 is a key player in the assembly and function of the Golgi apparatus and is essential for proper cellular function and development. By targeting and detecting Hook1 protein expression, researchers can gain insights into its role in various cellular processes, making this antibody ideal for studies in cell biology and neuroscience.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a member of the hook family of coiled-coil proteins, which bind to microtubules and organelles through their N- and C-terminal domains, respectively. The encoded protein localizes to discrete punctuate subcellular structures, and interacts with several members of the Rab GTPase family involved in endocytosis. It is thought to link endocytic membrane trafficking to the microtubule cytoskeleton. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined.
