The HOXA13 Antibody (CAB13999) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in various immunological assays, including Western blotting.HOXA13 is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the formation of body structures during embryonic development, particularly in the development of limbs and genitalia. Mutations in the HOXA13 gene have been associated with a range of developmental disorders, making it a target of interest in research on developmental biology and genetic diseases.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during embryonic development. This gene is part of the A cluster on chromosome 7 and encodes a DNA-binding transcription factor which may regulate gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiation. Expansion of a polyalanine tract in the encoded protein can cause hand-foot-uterus syndrome, also known as hand-foot-genital syndrome.
